"Satisfy us in the morning with Your unfailing love,  so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives" (Psa 90:14) Moses was 80 when God called him. Although he cited many excuses, he never mentioned his old age. He was active in serving the Lord and His people till his death. The Scripture records, "Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eyes were not dim nor his natural vigour abated" (Dt 34:7). There may be retirement from secular jobs and even from Christian ministerial positions. But God never relieves anyone from serving Him just because of age. It is advised that retired people take up regular voluntary work in service organisations. Idling will lead to all sorts of physiological and psychological maladies. An idle man's mind becomes the devil's workshop. Don't lose your enthusiasm.  Walterson was right when he said, "Years wrinkle the face, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul." God has Blessed us with talents and gifts so that we can be a Blessing to others. When He assigns a work to us , could be small or big always give your best. See how you can constantly improve and complete it successfully. Never remain stagnant or give excuses and not do the work. Matthew 9 :    37  Then he said to his disciples,  “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few;   End days are nearing and Gospel message has to be taken to all people. Fresh revivals should occur  in every place, every family, every individual.  So joyfully and prayerfully join hands with God and be part of His wonderful work. "O God, You are my strength; I wait for You" (Psa 59:9) It is only natural to run for shelter and refuge on the face of threat and danger. It's reflex action that's common to humankind. But in this era of swift and lethal weaponry, no place is absolutely safe unless God protects us. Because our times are in His hands and we are in His palms, we must learn to relax in any situation. The profitability of waiting on God when we are threatened and hounded is best explained in Isaiah 30:15,16, "The Sovereign Lord says: Only in returning to Me and waiting for Me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength." God's silence and slowness in acting on our behalf when we are under the severe attack of our enemies may be due to two reasons.
